Earth Energy is Crucial for Soul Growth: The soul + body + Earth connection Explained

One of the most important—yet often overlooked – parts of the spiritual path is the relationship between Earth connection and spiritual growth.

Though often equated as being associated with modern Western spiritual traditions like the ‘New Age’, Earth connection has sat at the heart of spiritual traditions spanning the globe since humans have been recording such things. Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, Africa: each continent has a rich past that includes totem animals, Earth as a teacher, and a living relationship with nature as central to how humans know and relate to their personhood as well as their connection Creator.

Earth energy is key to meeting specific energetic + electrical charges in our own energy field that create the path way for soul connection, soul expansion and soul growth.

Ancient traditions knew this. Sacred sites are proof of it.

Over the past 20 years, I have researched the soul growth process. One of the key things that I have found as I have walked my own spiritual path and later, acting as guide for others is that: Earth connection is essential to soul growth. Without it, spiritual development becomes harder. Being energy sensitive feels more difficult to manage.

In my writings and teachings, I address the more traditional layers of this including animal and nature connection. In this article and the video that accompanies it, I take a new approach on sacred energy and the human + Earth connection. One that addresses two specific flows of energy that flow through the Earth and their relationship to our ability to be our spiritual selves in our body, here on Earth. These two energies help us maintain and spiritually ground our system. Without them – the soul growth process becomes much more difficult.

Key to all of this are the two flows I speak about, today: telluric current and electron flow.

Spiritual Growth has an Energetic Component: Earth is Key to the Charge

A key theme you experience in my teachings is the centrality of Earth connection to grounded spiritual development. This is because direct contact with the planet is one of the best ways to create the spiritual and biological conditions you require to spark your own spiritual growth. While there is a much more deep connection between you and the planet than this energy layer, it is through connection to it that you are both tuned and become aware of the more complex mystical layers.

Introducing electron flow and telluric current

Earth has two specific flows of energy that are beneficial to the human spiritual body + soul system: electron flow and telluric current. These two flows must be present and flowing to a certain vibration and consistency within the body for us to spark (and comfortably experience) our spiritual growth. Beyond achieving balance, when a person is interested in sparking a phase of soul growth or personal change in alignment, one of the very best ways they are able to do this is to saturate themselves in these two forms of energy.

When you hear me speak about my ‘plugging into the planet teachings’, the heart of the concept is that aligning yourself to different layers of energy helps to build up the resonance and capacity for complex spiritual tasks like soul integration, soul growth, and embodiment. You also frequently hear me speak about the cycle of the seasons. This is because there is a direct connection between the turning of the season and fluctuations of this energy.

This is part of what has always made solstice, Equinox, and eclipses sacred. It is also part of what sacred sites in that tradition are designed to align with.

In a nutshell, here’s how that works:

Electron Flow and the Global Electrical Circuit

As academic research in the past decade is confirming: Earth connection has a significant and positive connection to our biological and psychological wellbeing. This happens because the Earth is covered with a flow of energy called ‘electrons’ that themselves, are connected to all other living things. This is called the ‘global electrical circuit’:

When we make direct contact with this global electrical circuit, we tap into the electron flow. Often explored under theoretical frameworks like ‘grounding’, ‘biofield and the human body’, or in psychological well-being research, the positive impact that connection to this electron flow has on the human body is being scientifically celebrated. Bearing positive on factors like focus, quality of life, and reduced anxiety, direct connection to this flow also has the ability to help us heal our biological body faster.

While nature immersion in general is positive for humans, making direct skin to Earth contact is key because when you do this – you are charging up your physical body with the exact same energy that comes from the sun, thunderstorms, shifts in atmospheric conductivity and factors like volcanoes.

This is why you hear me speak about solar flares, geomagnetic storms, and how different types of weather and solar conditions create ‘charging spiritual conditions’.

Telluric frequency and the Spiritual Flow of Earth Energy

Telluric energy is the spiritual flow of energy that covers this planet. It can be found in rocks, water – and most famously, sacred sites. This is the energy that sparks your energy body. It is also so important to the spiritual pathway of the planet that people have built sites to conduct it for 10,000 or more years.

Though nowhere near as prolifically investigated in academic research as the electron flow, telluric energy has an important role to play in our ability to hear and embody our spiritual selves as well as to communicate with, sense, and engage the metaphysical world.

• Have you ever noticed your feet or head buzzing with energy when you got to a river or a place you knew was special in some way? That is what telluric energy feels like.
  
• Have you ever noticed how you saw truth or felt yourself differently after being in one of these places? That is what telluric energy does.

One of the really important things about telluric energy, is that when you are tuned to it, you wind up being able to hear sacred Earth, animals, and nature all around you. You see and experience the natural world in more depth. You intuitively know where to go to help heal, stabilize and inspire yourself. It is like living in high def.

One of the very neat things about this It is responsive to weather, seismic events like earthquakes and volcanos, and also astronomical phenomenon such as eclipses. The Secret to Soul Growth: Your Energy Body and Biological Body Allow You To Birth and Embody Yourself BEST When Charged with This energy

In the spiritual growth field, there is a commonly accepted narrative that soul awakening is a terrible, uncomfortable process. While Earth connection and charging up the soul + body do not take all of that away, they significantly diminish it. When we are electron deficient or telluric depleted, it is common to feel the growing pains that could be a 2 out of 10 as an 8, instead.

While it is possible to go in depth with intentional nature connection as a path for soul growth, even simple acts like making direct skin to earth contact can be a game-changer. The average person is indoors 90% of the time and online for at least 7.5 of them. This leaves humans as electron deficient and experiencing significantly less time in connection to these energy systems than humans before us. When this happens, soul growth can feel slow, arduous, and come with a lot of ‘symptoms’ as the mainstream call them such as extreme emotions, difficulty grounding and embodying,

This is the part that I wish I had known 20 years ago

One of the most powerful ways to make spiritual awakening and growth to feel comfortable, embodied, and stable is to connect to the electron flow and telluric energy that is available in the waterways, rocks, trees, parks, pathways, and backyards available to us. The more time we spend in these places, either to spark ourselves, maintain our state of being, or as part of a soul growth moment – the easier we meet the charge component that comes with soul growth. There are definitely more layers to the Human and Nature connection including how Earth acts as a gateway for the soul as well as how nature immersion connects us to the heart of Creator (or God, if you prefer that term). Make Nature Immersion Part of Your Spiritual Growth + Self Care Routine

One of the foundational through-lines in my method at IndiCrow Academy and expressed in these articles is just how important getting outside is as part of the self care practice.

Going to parks, reading with your feet on the ground, sitting with a tree, swimming in lakes and rivers – and doing this solo as well as with your family – are easy ways that you can tap yourself into these flows of energy that exist all around us.

It is also a lot of fun.

Fun is meant to be part of this. Part of the joy in this is getting outside and exploring your own natural environment + learning to see and experience it in more depth. Being inspired by nature, allowing yourself to receive the natural sound healing provided by birds, wind and water, and immersing yourself in organic spaces helps make being human feel safe, enriching, and real.

While there are complex layers to this, such as finding spiritual gateways or the energetic impact of visiting the spaces of our ancestors, it all begins with a strong and spiritually grounded soul and body connection which itself, which these flows help us to achieve. Once you get charged up – this telluric connection is also the source of how we hear Earth, ourselves, and tap into deeply spiritual and moving experiences.
