December 2023 has arrived and with it comes a flurry of fresh possibilities. Two years ago, when I began these astrology reports, we were walking into the beginning of a phase of initiations that we, as a whole planet, co-experienced. Month by month, alignment by alignment, we met the structures of the ‘old’ world. It was not always easy, nor was it nice. However, it had a purpose. In so doing, we saw things we needed to see, we made choices, we made changes, and we got through it.
That in itself is something to celebrate.
Back in late October into early November, Earth entered into a 6 month rapid healing cycle. This major healing cycle is going to affect each of up us. This is a positive thing. Some people shrink away from the word ‘healing’ as being synonymous with dealing with a ‘tough thing’ or expressing suppressed emotions (and sometimes it does). There are many layers to the concept of healing. This is a gentle reminder that it can be fun to experience release, relief and to have foggy minds and sad hearts lifted. ‘Healing’ is also having that insight you were seeking suddenly popping in, meeting conclusions and completion on long-standing issues, and experiencing the joy of moving forward. The theme for this December astrology report is,
“Oh, the possibilities!”
I decided on that title because truth be told, I see so much positive transformation, so many incoming opportunities, and multitudes of people improving their trajectories. There is hope, there is happiness, there is clarity. There is magic. There are all the things we love about this world stepping back into focus for everyday enjoyment. It is up to us to be willing to accept the miracles in our lives and be grateful for them as they happen.
It is not always ‘easy’ to step into a world where we feel love and trust, again or for the very first time.

Prior to diving further into the astrology report, I wanted to make note of the big changes happening here at this website and in life.
For me, December is a particularly exciting month because – drumroll – I AM BACK TO TEACHING NEW CLASSES, DOING EVENTS, and 1:1 SESSIONS.

TONE SHIFT: I am also happy to announce that you are about to experience a tone shift, here. I am officially returning to the fun side of teaching about spirituality and self-connection. In this past 18 months or so, I know that the material here has been mostly focused on encouraging people to connect to their soul and to release negative spiritual influence. Part of the reason I was doing that is because there were a lot of people around me who were struggling and really needed that information. I made a cosmic promise that I would do what I could to re-unify these people with their soul pieces. Gratefully, I have recently finished that task. Now we get to focus on the power and the joy of having these spiritual and self-connection experiences.
These last few years in the cosmic trenches and in sacred focus getting the planet through what we just experienced were rough. I have been really enjoying the personal transformation and look forward to this season. There is so much joy, wonder, and potential. It is like a breath of fresh air.

TO KEEP UP WITH READING THE WRITTEN VERSION
At the outset of this report, I mentioned that we are in a rapid healing pocket of the planet. This is 100% the big story and will be featured in our astrology reports until at least May. We are within the Aries (Mars) – Libra (Venus) axis, node wise (a topic we covered with a node switch special article. I will link it at the bottom of the post for the astro nerds).
This is a summary of some of the power alignments we will be experiencing this month. Listen in to the podcast for more description on each point, as well as a narrative conversation on how each of the individual alignments will be sparking different parts of our cosmic makeup. There is so much, I would be here writing for days to cover it all in text.
Alignments with Neptune: Back in our September astrology report, I predicted that people out there would be waking up their intuitive senses and beginning to feel excitement about connecting to the Universe and their inner world. I have seen it happening and guess what? There is more to come. This month, we have Neptune going direct on December 6 and a lunar occultation of Neptune on December 19 (right before solstice).
- Neptune represents our inner depths, intuition, as well as our ability to see the truth through illusion. (In its lower harmonic, Neptune can represent deception, fear of the inner depths, and confusion.) Truth be told, we went through a series of initiations of Neptune back in March-April 2022. A lot of us saw the harder harmonic of Neptune and got the chance to heal our connection to this frequency back then. Hearts up: this is nothing to fear. Do not let past Neptune alignments sour you from these ones. Once we heal our harmonic relationship to a planet, when it shows up in our lives in future cycles it brings knowledge of a more positive, easy to pallet tone.
- This alignment will help us to experience is a continuation of a waking up (or strengthening) of intuitive senses. So too will it usher in the importance of developing them safely.
- For some (but not all) I also sense the awakening to the truth about topics that have been ‘avoided’. Neptune (and Mercury) will see to it that those ignored messages get delivered. This could involve recognizing deception in your spiritual world.
The Sun: One of the biggest pieces of our energetic and astrological makeup that we are experiencing December through May is our move to solar maximum (coming a year early and more strong than predicted, at that). The sun is an important part of our solar system and energetic makeup. Astrology people know that where the sun is at has a lot do with which characteristics or themes are being highlighted. That is why ‘sun signs’ are considered important.
- The sun has immense ‘illumination’ power in general that is not fixed to its position. When we have solar flares or high solar activity, we feel its light entering our life. As we move to the solar maximum of solar cycle 25, expect that the sun will be highlighting and punctuating the power of astrological alignments. Expect it also to help you make a giant vibrational leap (if you are ready to).
- Solar cycle 25, the impact the sun has on us, and how to use it for building blocks was a theme of focus in ‘managing big energy’. Access to it is linked in the final section.
- When the solar power is cranking, ask questions, be inquisitive. Do the deep dives into things that matter to you (while being safe about it). Get in your energy pillar and do some healing or work with it from there to call forth your highest harmonic reality streams. It really, truly works. These are moments where putting any form of effort into yourself is going to reward you exponentially. Go for it and have fun.
- The sun is in Sagittarius for the first part of the month. It moves into Capricorn on Solstice, December 21 (more on that in a moment).
Vesta on Spotlight: Oh, Vesta. Beloved bearer of the eternal flame that keeps the hearth lit, people alive and the world safe. Crucial, yet in the past epoch, societally undervalued space of magic and creation. Vesta represents the space of creative power within each of us. Huge Vesta fan, right here.
- We first began our conversation about Vesta in September, where I introduced you to the concept of merging the ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ strands in the human energy spectrum. This process is still ongoing and is part of the great leap we are making today.
- As you know, cosmic alignments that happen during Solstice and Equinox have special tonal power. What they represent is a ‘theme’ of energy we will have pinged in our spectrum. Vesta (in retrograde) enters Gemini on December 20. On Solstice, December 21, Vesta is at opposition. These are precisely the alignments of lighting the inner spark of magic and creation.
- If you ask me, one of the most fun parts of learning metaphysics and becoming involved in ‘energy’ or some ‘spiritual practices’ is that they help us work with our own power of Creation. Vesta will help people recognize their capability, reconnect to their inner hearth, and hopefully inspire them to start thinking about just how much power their thoughts have. **Pay attention to where you place your attention and what you allow in your auric field. More on that in the podcast delivery of this report.**
- Jupiter Direct: December 30, we have Jupiter ‘Big Dad’ going direct. I feel that around this moment, we are going to be experiencing something powerful. Though I cannot say precisely what, my read of the Universe and our cosmic trajectory says: GET READY. I mean that in the most positive way.

*Sagittarius is in many ways about coming into harmony with our cosmic nature. Within many interpretations of this sign is the attempt for the archer (half animal, half human) to come to grips with their ‘animal’ centaur nature. In this sense, I think we are able to very much apply this to we are evolving what is called ‘human nature’. We are not the prison people we had been forced to be in the last epochs. We are love and we are moving forward, together to be free. We are embracing our SPIRITUAL NATURE which is about 2/3 of the key.
Suggestions for Positive Connection
Although there is a lot of excitement happening, this is ‘slow’ compared to what we will be encountering in January – May. Consider this an incredibly important window to get grounded in priorities and self-care. Metaphysically speaking, energy grounds in our life most impactfully when we take the steps to be able to receive and direct our path with it. On the matter of the body and our ‘feeling’ experience, getting good habits of eating and movement in place WILL pay off. Follow that urge to set up routines and stick to them.
The Power of Your Focus: One of the things that comes along with Neptune, the Sun and Vesta is an acknowledgement of the power of our inner world. Our thoughts, our orientations, the things we allow ourselves to be exposed to (even in passing) have a HUGE impact on what we attract and what we experience.
- I highly recommend that you work with intentions on a regular basis.
- Be mindful of your thoughts. If you find yourself on repeat negativity (without making progress), cut it off. You are only planting the seeds to experience more of it.
An awakening to the power of inner alchemy: One of the greatest myths of metaphysics is that people think that they ‘need someone else to do something for them’. Be that a spirit guide, a being that is supposedly superior to them, or a teacher that they have formed a dependency on. YOU HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO CREATE MIRACLES IN YOUR OWN LIFE. Embrace that. (The two points above are powerful ways to do that.)
Taking moment to be honest with yourself about your goals, hopes, and dreams. Also be honest with yourself about what is not working. “The truth will set you free.” I think that one is self-evident. It is healthy and productive to evaluate where you are placing time, energy and focus. Is it getting you closer to your goals? Do you even know what your dreams are, anymore? If the answer is no, you are not alone. Consider this a season to reconnect. It will feel like going home and you will be happy you did it.
Practice an attitude of gratitude: Be grateful for everything that is going right in your life. The more that you focus on saying ‘thankyou’ to Creator (and yourself, and the people around you), the more you will have to be thankful for. The same magnification I mentioned in an earlier point about negativity works for positivity, too.
